Jane Eveshodioni(b. 2000) , is a Nigerian modern visual artist from the rocky town of Ososo of Edo State. She is an undergraduate student of fine arts from the university of Benin, Benin City. Jane's creative work embodies surreal personalities, emphasizing on a connection of both reality and dreams with the use of acrylic, oils and African prints and other mediums. Her works represent the combination of the human body as one with nature, relating an awareness of the ecosystem, cultural-religious mythology and cracks in the human psyche in the use of rocks to represent the body. Her work brings in a sense of solitude and tranquility, a feeling of being far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
In pursuit of artistic competence, Eveshodioni studied art under mentors Kenny Maro and Osaru Obaseki.
